Spelthorne Council's Local Pan Consultation 

  

Tom continues to advocate keeping Green Belt remaning Green Belt as part of his work on the Council's Planning Committe. Tom supports the responses to the Spelthorne Borough Council Local Plan Consultation which ended at 23:59 on Tuesday 21 January 2020.

Actions taken include:

  • Together with Malcolm Beecher, Cllr Lagden and Cllr Siva (Labour), he set up a Green Belt campaign Petition which has kindly been supported by Chris Packham

  • The Petition was handed over on 21 January 2020.

  • Tom has been listening to and working with residents about the proposals

  • Press comment in the News - the Petition made front page news in the Surrey Advertiser

Spelthorne Council's Local Green Space Assessment Methodology Consultation

  

Tom worked with with Cllr. Doerfel to support colleagues and Resident Groups in response to the Spelthorne Borough Council Consultation on Local Green Space Assessment Methodology which closed on 4th June 2019.

 

Actions taken include:

  • Together with Cllr Doerfel and Cllr Siva (Labour), he set up a campaign Petition to support the Response to the Consultation

  • Tom is listening to and working with the views of residents and local groups about the proposals

  • Press comment in the News when the story was covered by SurreyLive
